Leonard’s best interest is definitely Toronto financially and basketball wise
Kawhi free agency - I'll be very surprised if he stays in Toronto............

with KD and Klay out, the West is wide open now.
Kawhi can OWN LA and NBA if he comes here and crushes it this year.

#74This was him after the Sixers series. It almost seems like he let slip that it could have been his final game with the team, but he paused and said the season.
Obviously things have changed and he's more likely to stay after winning a title. Short term deal seems most likely. Then if he doesn't win another title, he can bolt for LA guilt-free.
2:02 is when he says it.Comment -

#75Siakam is the reason Kawhi will stay. Siakam at full potential with another year under his belt will be one of the best scorers in the league.Comment -

#84Pure speculation.
All we know is that last year "his people" wanted him in LA but coach Pop was not going to help the Lakers out and he wasn't going to "reward" kawhi by sending him to the clippers and let him go home. So he shipped him to Canada and the dude won another chip lmfaoComment -

#85ok that explains it. you are biased. as a LA resident i hope he comes here so I am biased too. we have better weather and hotter chicks. oh and we have beaches. seriously though, the case i made in the OP makes the case for him to leave. HE GONE.
how do you did your team because of LeBron? that means your hate for LeBron is greater than your love for the Lakers.
i grew up watching Showtime Lakers. fast break. Magic to James Worthy, then the dunk.Comment -

#89There's a thing called luxury tax...
A luxury tax in professional sports is a surcharge put on the aggregate payroll of a team to the extent to which it exceeds a predetermined guideline level set by the league. The ostensible purpose of this "tax" is to prevent teams in major markets with high incomes from signing almost all of the more talented players and hence destroying the competitive balance necessary for a sport to maintain fan interest. The money derived from the "tax" is either divided among the teams that play in the smaller markets, presumably to allow them to have more revenue to devote toward the contracts of high-quality players,[1] or in the case of Major League Baseball, used by the league for other pre-defined purposes.Comment -

#96I'm real bro. He wasn't involved in 2013. That was the old spurs. In 2014 he destroyed James. Don't give me the injury crap. He was hurt himself this year in the finals. The media is full of shit. Warriors had 4 hall of fame players on the court in game 6 at tip off.Comment -
