difference is, there is no "mercy rule" in the f'n world cup; and if anything, it disrespects a team more to clown them by not giving it your all....
at this level, competing full bore should be the order of the day, regardless of score.....
having said that, we all know that many professional sports involve takin' the foot off the gas a little (and in a few notable instances, it has bitten them in the ass), and the f'n usa dykes could have found that fine line of tankin' a little to keep the score low without insulting their opponents......
