You should come up this summer. Downtown Toga is a great atmosphere during the summer nights. We can do racing one day and BHOF the next.

Racing meet middle of July through Labor Day. Dark Monday and Tuesdays.

I might be able to get you a free room at Rivers Casino in Schenectady (about half hour from track). Track season they might tighten up the freebies but I could still get a good rate I'm sure.

Saratoga is about 5 hour drive for you. I'm about 45 minutes south of Saratoga.

The harness track is right down the street from the flat track. Harness track has a casino (machines only).

And yes, hotels are mad expensive during racing meet.

Word of advice. be prepared for tons of traffic. wont be as bad as when a horse is going for the triple crown but still traffic i live maybe 2-3 miles from belmont took me an hour and a half to get home one time. also dont bother with meadowlands with traffic leaving belmont will be an easy 1.5- 2 hour drive. lot of traffic on a saturday evening going through the bronx.

It’s virtually impossible with traffic and tolls for anybody in New Jersey to go and many places in New York takes forever to get there heavy traffic and terrible roads, Not a lot of options

Belmont is easy to get to. Local roads or highways. There is one shit neighborhood behind the track but if allabout the $$$ lived in Elmont I doubt he’d have internet to post. Most likely a Floral Park or Garden City Guy. Good people out there.
