Really? I thought that since betting is now legal, cards would lift the restrictions on gambling at legal books.

Not that I care but you don't need a reason to take bitcoin, you need a reason not to take it - as stated earlier in the thread there are still banks that don't want deposits used for sports betting or casinos.

Let me rephrase, within the sportsbook world only, bitcoin is only used as a source to fund offshore books, legal USA based books do not accept it. As for reason, one may be dealing with fluctuations when whales deposit tens of thousands of dollars.

I have no problem using a second, or even my primary checking/saving account for deposit in a state regulated book.

This particular book doesn't open for business until 12pm, I find that a little strange? Or am I mistaken.

Obviously most people don't need bitcoin to deposit to most US books but its a nice option to have as a payout since many books won't payout direct to your card.

The fluctuation shouldn't be an issue - the book just needs to issue a disclaimer that fluctuation risk is taken by the player who uses bitcoin.

Its a soft opening for a few days for testing, should be 24 hours by this weekend.

just deposited my bank debit card worked, I got excited when I saw 100% bonus, I thought great I will deposit $1000. Nope $250 tops, soon was told check/savings account will be activated for deposit and withdraw. the bonus was cash not free play.

and I think, if I am reading it correctly, you only need to play your bonus one time through. now I need to compare baseball odds, I didn't do that part yet. customer service via chat is fast, of course it is opening week. PA residents must download something called a geolocator, unless your device does it automatically. I had to download it to prove in PA

Every phone has to be geolocated to make sure you're in states' borders. Some work well, some have issues.

If PA SugarHouse app is anything like NJ's, I'll use it for the bonus and bail shortly after. I didn't like the interface at all. I haven't bothered with it yet here in PA.

hmmm, I didn't see that. let me take a look if I find anything I will report. that will be very strange if they don't open on Friday, to tell you the truth I was surprised at the noon opening. that will change during foot, has to some games start at noon, some even earlier.

they will be opened tomorrow but they don't know what time pending PGCB approval. this will all be handled via regulations and protocol. which in the long run will be an asset for players but maybe a tiny bit of a pain in the ass at first. but, you can be sure you won't get screwed, you will get paid and so far these customer service people are super nice.

not crazy about the set up but I will get used to it.

BTW, I found half time lines on baskets. you must search and fck around for a little. it is different than most offshore. but after a week or so you will become accustomed to it. lines are pretty close. hey if baskets and foot are 108 that is okay, not sure if that is going to be default.
