Win #4 Blue Skies Forever 6-1

Pick Three 4/2/ALL
Ferraro’s go-to move over the years has been to bring his horses back on short rest, in fact he just missed in that mode last week@ 20-1, losing a photo. This one comes back 13 days after making a nice late move. Should be closing late and might get ignored with no name jock.

Race 4
Win #2 Needs No Ice 10-1
Passed horses in stretch last out after a wide trip from an impossible post in its return to turf. Morrison an under the radar guy these days, especially on turf. Another one that should be flying late.

Was a great looking card until a couple races came off turf. These NY Bred Showcase days are always good to play since there’s always a bomb or two in the mix. After scratches Im left with four. I’ll have Win bets on all four and will fool around with exotics as the day progresses.

Race 2
#9 My Last Million 8-1
Baker won yesterday at 23-1 so looks like his barn is ready to roll. This horse likes to win, albeit mostly at Finger Lakes. It does have a W at Aqu and Baker has made a career of upsetting with Finger Lakes shippers. Can wire or stalk and might get ignored off the six month layoff.

Race 6
#3 Youth Gone Wild 20-1
Ubilio has fallen off the face of the earth the last few years but this one has a couple of good turf sprint efforts at Belmont. Will need some speed up front but should be a big price.

Race 7
#6 Frostie Anne 8-1
One turn dirt races are the only way to go with Rudy Rod, in my opinion. Drops back in with State Breds after a speed/fade vs open company. I imagine the only game plan is to try and wire. Should be in front turning for home, just gotta hope Rudy used the good juice today.

Race 8
#6 Mo Maverick 5-1
Cannizzo got this one via claim two back. He does great with turf speed types(Black Tide, Fox Rules). Don’t know if today is the day but Cannizzo will definitely improve the horse. Speed/fade prep helps.

Race 2
#7 Dark Money 12-1
Horse has run twice at 6f. The first time was in it’s debut race, which was a stakes race. Strange spot to debut in so you can toss that effort. The second time was an explosive win two back. Horse came back last out and ran a dud, but that can be excused as it was its first time facing winners, and it was at 7f. I like playing closers turning back in sprint distances as they will most likely have a faster pa e to close into. Field scratched down to 5, so not sure where the price goes, but Ryerson tends to get ignored when training for other owners besides Generazio.

Race 5
#5 Collins Ave 9/2
Goes first time off the claim for Ferraro, and it’s returning off short rest, a Ferraro staple. It’s dangerous betting on horses claimed from Dubb, but the horse’s turf record is excellent and might get ignored running for an under the radar outfit.

Race 9
#7 Here Comes Meg 6-1
Klesaris is a super sharp mid Atlantic trainer that ships in and wins in NY regularly. In three starts so far this meet he has 1 W and 1 P. Hard to catch him outside the 5-1 to 10-1 range, so take what we can get.
