#12My first time in Vegas I was talking to the lady taking sports book wagers at the Golden Nugget. She told me she had been doing that for 20+ years. I asked her, at any given moment what percentage of people in the sportsbook room/area would she consider to be sharps? Like on an average basis or something. She responded quickly with none. She said that sharps don't stay around and watch the game.Comment -

#16Continually comes into thread insulting me and throws in late blows and extra unnecessary comments.
Does the same repeatedly in other threads on other posters.
Ignores posters who comment/try to speak with him. Tried making peace at one point, he just ignores me and others. Even asked where people were meeting and grabbing beers in Atlantic City, ignored again. He only responds to you if he sees worth in talking to you. The definition of a sociopath.
Sociopaths are able to blend in well in forums and social situations but do not be mistaken, it is clear he has deep narcissism which is one of the several signs of a socio. He views himself as better than the majority of people on here. 1 in 25 people in society are socios. He is probably the socio at his golf course.Comment -

The offense carried them for awhile but that been inconsistent striking out trash lately, skewing their numbers w a occasional outburst.
Bullpen been the only fairly consistent strength but of course they blew it today and one against pirates too. Not worried bout the pen, they prob gonna be one of the best in the league once Martinez gets integrated.
I know they are lucky the city all bout the blues right now. There usually a very angry mob forming when cards play this bad but everyone preoccupied. They better get it together before hockey finished!! LolComment -

#29Lol. No shit, mfers been awful, they were 20-10 at one point!! 4-13 since. The staring pitching has been unexpectedly garbage all year for the most part.

#31at least you not a met fan. we're only good the first two weeks in april. and i had solace in watching the marlins until my favorite baseball player came to florida and destroyed the team. it burns every time i hear about one of those young guys doing good. yelich, dietrich, ozuna, stanton. and they were a fun team to watch. especially when jose was alive. it's been a downturn for the franchise ever since. rays are decent but they are boring as hell. even when they win.
Man the Mets do always seem to start the year w such promise! You would think they should be competing for a wc at least.
Don’t mind me I was just venting a little, perfectly happy to be a cards fan even w the last few crappy years! At least they tried to improve this year and honestly I still think they could easily turn things back the right direction and be in playoffs. Some the guys are gonna pitch better, Reyes has been stretching back out as a starter which I thought it was dumb to have him in pen in 1st place. He tends to need little time in a game to get his control down, that not what you want out the pen! He still has ace stuff, just can he stay healthy for once? Definitely not that bad being a cards fan, even when we bad it been competitive with some hope!! LolComment -

#32Fukkin marlins, I heard they told us yelich was off limits then they turn around and flip him to the damn brewers after we get Ozuna fat ass. Ozuna regresses and yelich becomes freakin mvp. Fukk you jeter! Lol. It’s really tragic all the not just good but great players marlins have had and gotten rid of the last 20 years!

#33yeah. even when mets are decent they are a player away and won't spend the money. especially when the pitching is pretty solid. just got swept by the marlins lol. i couldn't watch a minute as both teams are garbage. and to sit and watch the yankees get player after player. mets have a solid fan base in nyc and won't spend cash wisely. and i don't hate yankees. just their damn fans. most spoiled mofos of all. maybe if i didn't grow up watching the 86 mets i coulda been a happy bragging yankee fan lol. buying chip after chip.Comment -

It so crazy how much the game has changed when you go back and look at elite pitchers and very few of their strike out rates sniff the k/9 guys putting up now days. Ryan had 7-8 seasons where he struck out more than a batter per inning but lot of the best pitchers of those times were more in the 8ks or so per 9 range. Imagine how high their strikeout rates would be in today’s game!! Express was striking out 10 per 9 innings back then. Imagine what it would be in today’s game!! 13? 14? Maybe freaking 15!!
