Yes Redskins, also Dallas is top 5. Dont forget Chargers are great except for Pats picking them apart they were an elite defense all year.

Bucs and 49ers? lol
improved maybe but not top 10. Chiefs defensive personnel improved and i'd say theyre going to be better than the Bucs. Chargers defense should still be good too and Ravens being slept on again.

Ravens lost a whole bunch of their core. I’d expect them to still be good cause that what they do but hard to say at the moment.

lost veteran leadership sure but talentwise theyre better off without Mosley, Weddle and Suggs who were at times a liability in coverage. Earl Thomas is an upgrade over Weddle. Jaylen Ferguson who broke Suggs division 1 sack record in college is going to be the heir apparant and i expect him to make an immediate impact. i think Ravens will miss Mosley's abscence the most - quarterbacking the defense. the linebacker spot is the only question mark on this defense but Peanut Onsuawor can do an admirable job filling in while they groom Kenny Young for the job.

Atlanta's defense is top 10, they were decimated by injuries, if healthy they have a lot of speed

Chiefs picked up in the offseason... Tyrann Matheiu, Alex Okafor, Frank Clark. not to mention they got rid of their DC Sutton who was partly responsible for the Chiefs defensive meltdowns. Spags is a better DC. cant see them finishing bottom 20 in defense like last year.

i for one agree with this one they can definitely jockey for the top 10 spot. gonna say theyll finish anwywhere in the top 15. some good offenses in the NFC South to deal with.. Falcons are ahead of Bucs in defense for sure

Mosley def the one I’d worry most about. Sure Thomas is more talented but when the last time he stayed healthy? Seems like he been hurt a lot lately. I’m certainly not arguing, I always expect harbaugh to field a top 10 defense. They damn sure be better than the Bucs!!

true true there is that. Earl Thomas has played 29 of his last 48 regular season games, but before that he was as durable as they come. but his health is definitely something to keep an eye on and it can only start to get worse when athletes reach their 30's.
in other news Pernell McPhee is back. Ravens needed to add some vet and championship experience back into the unit and help bolster the pass rush. he should know the Ravens defensive schemes and offset the loss of Zadarius Smith who took McPhee's place when he left

Do you think the Titans could present some problems for the Browns and Baker Mayfield?

Changes every year, EVERY single year. Always a defense or 3 that come out of left field and always 1 or 2 from the top 10 that crumble to the bottom. Impossible to predict before the start of training camp and even then very difficult to nail

Some people read and believe everything that the alleged "experts" who spew their trash for the likes of CBS, Fox, and ESPN write. They are rarely correct. If people would do some research instead of trusting those morons they would be a lot better off.

Never have been a fan of the Lions offseason moves, but Patricia did some good stuff letting Ansah go and bringing in Tray Flowers. Resigning Harrison Snacks and also developing Hand. That D line will be pretty much impossible to run against imo. As for the secondary, it remains to be seen.

Ravens have had one of the best front offices in the NFL for a while, they let guys go for a reason, they must like the young talent behind them, Thomas is a big upgrade over an older Weddle if he can stay healthy.

Ravens' defense should be fine. Their secondary got better, DL is still strong, it's their linebackers that are a bit of a question mark with Mosley gone. But, there's no way they should have kept Mosley for what the Jets paid him. He's just not worth that much- few linebackers are.

Agree, Ravens D line would make a lot of linebackers look good too.

Both teams on the rise, time will tell.. IDK? Browns are improving that's for sure, Browns defense is pretty stout.
