Playing blues to get a split in San Jose. They been incredible on the road, I have no doubt they will get one of these 1st 2.
I’ll prob switch to sharks if they small dogs in stl next week.

Wish I could tell ya I liked the play but I really don’t freaking know, nhl playoff totals can be tough imo. Even when ya get a game where under looks great half the time goalie gets pulled and there several goals scored at end fukkin up a good thing.

Also I think we tend to see higher scoring games early in the series and things tighten up as the series progresses.

Double up live under 5.5 at + odds.
I think they go scoreless or 1 max period 2 and same period 3

Every damn time blues score and get back to 1 I turn my head for a second and sharks have another damn goal, fukk. Refs doing us no favors either, sharks had the 1st 5 on 3 I’ve seen these entire stinking playoffs (I’m sure there prob been a few more but all the playoff hockey I’ve watched that was the 1st I’ve seen!), might as well just hand the team a freaking goal! rooster suckers!

Blues are a good team but they were very lucky to not have to play Vegas or San Jose before they got to the conference finals since both teams rested players at the end of the regular season, Sharks and Vegas looked like the 2 best teams in the West when healthy.

If either the 2 teams lucky to be here id say it obviously the sharks who got gift wrapped the Vegas series on that 5 min power play to bail them out. Got a goal handed to them this game w that bs 5 on 3.. long series, we shall see!!

Not that I care but not mentioning blues in same breath as teams who looked the best coming into the playoffs is a mistake. Did any team post a better record second half of the season?

Sharks are NOT an under team especially not 5.5 and juiced. Cmon now, did you do any research on this game??? Martin jones is awful, don't let recency bias affect you. Sharks offense is top notch. Hammer over 5.5 / 6 throughout this series. 90% of time I'm on unders too but NEVER under with the sharks. The recency bias with Jones will also help get a decent price for over.
When a team is facing elimination, will be on the over each time this series 100%, ie game 6 and 7 guaranteed.
Also, straight from Sagarin NHL analytics (bolded is expected total):
SAN JOSE SHARKS 0.21 0.28 0.33 -0.37 st. louis blues 116 54% 5.70

Not that I care but the playoffs and regular season are completely different in all sports, especially hockey. Blues were strong the second half of the regular season because they are a good team and they played harder than most teams and didn't rest players. San Jose, Vegas, they rested players and didn't care about seeding. St. Louis is a good team but they don't have the talent that San Jose does. Sharks are still the more talented team.

Its fun triggering people a bit. I'm leaving the forum after NHL / now but had to log in and comment on this one though. This was the worst tilt bet I've seen in awhile. Look at Sharks schedule. How many times has their games ended below 5.5. Then you paid -130 juice on top of that??? Jones is a joke, Sharks score a ton. How in the world would you pick the under as a highly confident tilt play.

Yes I know regular season not same as playoffs but then your statement about what teams looked the best coming in would make no sense.
I’d agree top of rosters sharks more talented but I’d argue blues have more talent when you get down the roster to the 3rd/4th lines. Tarasenko/O’reilly really need to start producing, they have not been good these playoffs, it been the 3rd/4th lines that been carrying the team.
Despite what we watching this game i think it fair to say blues have the better goalie although jones has gotten stronger as the playoffs have went on.
Honestly my biggest concern for blues is special teams, their PP and PK has been a weakness.
Oh and folks around here are getting really confident, that scares me! Lol. Most the years blues come into playoffs as one the best regular season teams everyone around here thinks they going all the way and they get all pissy with me cause I rightfully never believe in them! Lol. This season most didn’t think blues had much of a chance and I was the one sayin they could win the cup. Now they have all gotten a huge boast of confidence, that typically when things fall apart.

Jones has looked much sharper as the playoffs had progressed. As I mentioned before game started I don’t like unders early in series as it seems to me much more often games tighten up and become lower scoring the deeper into a series ya get, early on everything tends to be more wide open.
