Played w a few ex aaa players (Zwolinsky, Knight, D Robinson) and they dominated the amateur scene in mpls...even the current college players
Some leagues I played in were exclusive to current college kids mixed w ex college
As I got older there were different caliber leagues available

I play competitive hockey year round. Mainly in the winter with a bunch of ex. College players mainly. We just had a tournament in Nashville two weeks ago.
Play in a bunch of country club tennis tournaments in the Summer.
Used to play a lot of soccer but it became harder and harder to get everyone to show up.Comment -
I played adult league baseball last night
I’m 35 now and it’s an 18& up league our first basemen is Dominican and just got released from Single A
our catcher played D1 and has a rocket arm
we have 2 pitchers who both pitched in the minor leagues and can still touch 90
the league is so good I barely get any playing time but I just like being part of a team and drinking beer and hitting the vape pen in the dugout with the guys
last night got a pinch hit AB against a sub marine arm and I almost took that little bitch deep
I fukking pissed on that ball hit off the fence 385 in left center. Ended up a 2 run double

Still surf religiously, snowboarding coming up, pretty much hung up the skateboard. Team sports never been my thing but play in a soccer team for fun, don't get it really people take it way to seriously and I'm running around laughing.
Never been a team sports guy (hate training), but shit it's funny watching over the hill guys acting like they're playing in the world cup final in what is basically social sports. Good on anyone playing in a legit league etc though. I only played for the beers afterwards to be honest just super noncompetitive I guess.Comment -
I work at the Olympic Club as a basketball scorekeeper so I see adult basketball leagues every night at work. I don't actually play in the leagues since I'm an employee and not a member but I play pickup ball as much as I can after work. The skill level of the guys in the leagues varies although there are some really good players who play in our A league that played college ball and some that went on to professional careers overseas.Comment -

Pitched last night.
Went in down 5-3 with 1 out and bases loaded. First guy got a hit and then I started over throwing and walked the next guy. Couldn't find the zone after that and walked the next 3. Player/Coach took me out after that.
Any psychological suggestions about throwing strikes. Seems to be my biggest struggle.Comment -
