I like a few of the games today and we’re finally getting to a point where you can feel comfortable betting these teams.
Cleveland -152
Not usually a fan of laying juice this high in MLB but I think we’re quickly running out of time to get this kind of price for Trevor Bauer. He’s becoming the real deal and while the Tigers have been solid so far, I don’t think anyone expects that lineup to look good against elite pitching. I think Bauer is there.
Rays/White Sox over 8.5
Day game, a historically wild Tyler Glasnow (I know he’s getting it sorted out), a surprisingly good/young Rays lineup, Reynaldo fuckin Lopez, and a White Sox team that can score runs and doesn’t bring their gloves to the field (bottom 5 in errors and fielding percentage) = runs? Maybe?
Pirates/Cubs over 7
This is a trap and I am caught in it. Jordan Lyles and current day Yu Darvish should never have a total set at 7. Throw in the Cubs lineup at home, and the fact that the Pirates HAVE to at least contribute a run right? Yu Darvish will probably walk 3-4 batters himself if he gets past the 4th inning. It’ll be cold and windy but I’ll take the over.
