They kept him in for the rebounds in the last minute in this game too..
Hey but he got it.. Put it in the history books.. Like I said it hasn't been done in 50 years... It's impressive regardless..

3 20's are you crazy JJ... Hasn't happened in 50+ years!!
That's nuts.. Just as impressive when Kobe dropped 81 against Toronto in 2006.. That hasn't happened since WILT did it in 1962.. A 50 + year span also..
What is funny the last player to get 20 points, 20 assists and 20 rebounds was Wilt..
Wilt Chamberlain was a man among boys back then though but he held all these records..
Historic stats -
In 2006, Kobe Bryant scored a career-high 81 points against the Toronto Raptors. It was the second-highest number of points scored in a game in NBA history, behind only Chamberlain's 100-point performance in 1962.
Wilt Chamberlain. On Feb. 2, 1968, Chamberlain had arguably the most dominant triple-double in NBA history while playing for the Philadelphia 76ers. He recorded 22 points, 25 rebounds, and 21 assists, which remains the only time a player has reached the 20-20-20 plateau in a single game until now with Russel Westbrook.

Chasing stats vs a completely gutted team. Disgusting. Why doesn't his team win the more difficult games? That would be something.

Fellas. Basketball is a team game. For the truly great player, team achievement comes first. (Magic, Bird, Duncan, et al)
Individual stats, accolades and trophy`s are for the unenlightened and insecure. (RWB, Melo, etc. )
Besides, as a god given athletic freak show, why hasn`t he learned how to shoot a better % in a league all about shooting??
The more he shoots, the worse his team plays. #s don`t lie.

More like the Laker defense is not that impressive.. Fixed...
Westbrook plays fearless and just balls out, he's really explosive and when he's driving to the hoop which is all the time he's always looking to pass first. His shooting percentage is what blows though. That's why he will never be considered the greatest point guard in the league.
He needs work harder on his shot.. Point guards like Damian Lillard and Kyre Irving shoot the ball so much better then Westbrook..
