Sad Story...Pretty Popular West Coast Rapper Murdered yesterday
well of course black on black because they hate each other
Seemed like a good guy trying to help blacks in his area and gunned down right where he grew up
I never heard of him but seemed well known with all celebs and singers

    Pretty major story now

    Nipsy Hussle

Rapper Nipsey Hussle died Sunday after a shooting in Los Angeles near a clothing store he owned, according to a high-ranking law enforcement official with the Los Angeles Police Department.

Nipsey Hussle was more of a movement than a musician

Two other people were injured in the shooting around 3:20 p.m., according to the department.
The shooting occurred in the area of Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard.

The victims were transported to a hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead, according to police. The other two were in stable condition, police added.
In a tweet, the department said it has no information about the suspect.

Yep and got killed because he told a childhood friend/gang member turned informer that he wasn't allowed near his store anymore. Rat goes and gets a semi-automatic and comes back and kills him because the little bitch couldn't handle being told the truth. What a serious mess when someone actually makes it somewhat big and still stays in his hood to try to help his community. Bloody horrible.

Go to the hood JJ and see if all black people hate each other. Your general comments are becoming unbearable. Yes there is a black on black crime issue in the ghettos in America. People kill, and kill who they are around. White mass shooters in the suburbs kill mostly white people. etc...

Yes its unfortunate. LA is gang central and its tough to change by just one move. There is many different issues that will take time to change a place like that. If I had riches I would invest in where I am from but I wouldnt live there, people hate and grudge

His friend who called into whatever show on YouTube yesterday that explained who it was and what happened well before the LAPD did also brought up Snoop. He said the difference between the two is that Snoop tries to do things to help Long Beach but doesn't want to be amongst it and people drag him for it for not being "real" when really maybe he's the smart one after all because who wants to live around people who will turn on you in an instant. It's really something to think about and that's coming from someone who obviously has a very limited knowledge of that lifestyle or environment at all. There will be a day that things will change. Maybe not soon but they will.

Only thing I'm DEEP into is my PJs as I'm about to go to bed but I'd hope most of a certain age would try to familiarise themselves with this sad story as it just keeps getting repeated across various demographics/suburbs/countries etc. Life's hard enough without people treating each other this way

There was some kind of brawl at a vigil last night and 19 people were taken to the hospital.

Authorities said the majority of those hospitalized appeared to have suffered "trample injuries" as panicked crowds fled Monday night's vigil.

all ages unfortunately are familiar with death, suffering, sadness on a local and inter connected way. We don't need headlines and celebrities to connect us to the fact that life is fragile, cruel and absurd at times.

                                      that's life

Awful. He was good people. My father had handled some of his real estate contracts and loved the man. Left 2 kids and one of the baddest women on the planet without their father and husband.

Victory Lap was the best album of 2017/18.

When the hood tells kids to become an athlete or a ball player, this man started a stem program for the inner city. He wanted to show these kids that they could be the next Elon Musk, or Mark Zuckerberg.

Everyone always says once people get rich they leave the hood, this man invested in the hood, owned businesses in the hood, gave people jobs when they needed work, he gave back to his community.
