after it burned down the corrupt bob brennan rebuilt it and ran it into the ground. he used OPM to finance it and ended up stiffing the investors. wouldn't think they need all that square footage for a sportsbook and poker room. racing isn't happening there ever again.

atlantic city racetrack area has until 2020 to request a sports book there. From what I read they lose the chance on getting it.
