Even for all those years before, he was only ABOVE average, no where near MVP level of stats, dude got really good defense but he's NO Machado imo. Machado offensive output far superior than Arenado will ever be.
Stop being a dumb penetrate and learn to read the stats, he's Above average offensive player overall, and playing gold glove defense, thats about it. He will never sniff MVP chances outside of coors without his inflated offensive output, only idiots like you buy into that kind of stupid inflated stats.Last edited by sk0002; 02-27-19, 12:37 PM.Comment -

#19You're an idiot, his road stats is pretty trash compared to home stats, hitting .347 at home and .248 away, every freaking rockies players look like the second coming of BARRY BONDS and when they play outside of coorsfield, they look very average and very overrated.

#23Arenedo is a very good player, there is no question about that. Excellent defensively and a multiple gold gloven winner.
His offensive stas are good and because he plays at Coors field there are great. The offensive stats are inflated.
There are several examples of players being traded to the Rockies and having career type years. Michael Cuddyer may be the best example. He was a journeyman player for the Twins. When Cuddyer was traded to the Rockies he won a batting title in 2013.
No professional athlete is worth 260 million. Can you image trying to make 260 million dollars in the real world of business, but then again sports salaries are not the real world.Comment -

#32You have no clue what you are talking about other than being an idiotic fanboy. He's good, no doubt, hell that's why he's an allstar, but please don't give me bullshit like he's mvp worthy type of player, he is not. He's a winner huh???? a winner hitting .190 .174 OBP, and .507 OPS postseason hitting career. It wasn't a lot of Abs, but he hasn't done shit to be considered a winning player. His war stats was 5.6 last year, and that's only about half of what Mookie betts/Trout is at; so cut your bullshit about this DECENT player and hype him as if he's in the trout/betts or even machado caliber.Comment -
