How much should I have tipped the hand payer?
I got a $30k check and the rest cash.

All they did was fill out some paperwork. Anything more than $20 is dumb.

This is why I hate slots....looking at the picture...that doesn’t even look like a Jackpot to me. I want to able to know what I’m looking for.

If you were hand paid, which is always the case when hitting something that big, why are the credits on your machine?
Do they reset it after they pay you?

They verify it with the machine with their card. Then that some how resets to original amount that I had on the game. It shows the credits because that was when I was waiting for them to pay me. They asked if I wanted all cash, one check, or a mix of the two. They also asked if I wanted 24% taken out for taxes or not.

I hit the high jackpot during a 8 free game session, and it hit on like the 4th one. That is why what is on the reels doesn't make sense. It will go through all 8 free games before it decides it is a hand pay or not.
