At some point the guy has to be given a second chance. 10 years is a long time. I’m 24 and my maturity just over the past 5 years is night and day.

Controversial opinion but I see greyhound and horse owners who race their animals in a similar manner to dog fights. Not as bad but for example, if a race animal breaks a leg, they are often put down. No chance to be adopted and live a normal life. While being euthanized is a more humane death this is still using animals for strictly gambling purposes to which many users of this forum bet on.
