Should Sportsbooks adapt regulation time only style grading ?
They do it for Soccer. And Hockey. Should Baseball, Football and Basketball be graded similarly ? Overtime only benefits the favorite and the over.

What about pick em games in foots and baskets?

How does extra innings in baseball only benefit the favorite?

Soccer has a thing called draws which you can bet.Are you suggesting adding another betting option as in ties at the end of regulation for bases, foots.and baskets?

Good question...what they should do if offer your idea as a separate market. Similar to soccer. You can bet either way...regulation or overtime. This would expand the markets even more.

Wouldn't they get exposed in an over/under market like that for NBA where there are 200 plus points scored a game? The chances that games go to OT is not very high...

No because you wouldn't be able to bet the over/under. Only the side. Just like in hockey if you want to bet regulation only.

Seperate market. They do it for soccer and hockey. It should have massive benefits on the unders in basketball. The OT kills a lot of unders unjustifiably.

One of the clown books in NJ already has it. By mistake I almost bet Pats 2nd half ML OT not included. They have it in baskets as well. 3 way lines. 3rd option tie at end of regulation.

At least one of the main offshore books offers a 3-way line for MLB baseball games.

My former local never counted OT in any sports. I put him out of business one hockey season. This was back when O/U were 5 and 5.5. I pounded under the 5 and 6 lines and bet overs on the 5.5. So many games are tied at end of regulation 2-2 or 3-3. He also had all the lines at -110

I suspect with so many UK connected operators working the US market 3 way lines on US sports will end up being a normal option at a lot of them.

I don't think many want to see overtime games settled as a push on the money line. 3-way lines invariably mean more juice.
