Pick up basketball keeps you in shape. Not likely to get hurt. I played decades, never had a serious injury. Turned an ankle hear and there and or got a bloody nose a few times from getting elbowed in the face but no biggie.

This is absurd..

Should reword the contract - If player gets injured playing basketball or other sports he will not get paid until fully healthy and able to play full contact football..

That seems fair to me if something like this needs to be enforced.

I would be living in a protective bubble until I got paid. Granted, I’ve never had a serious injury playling ball but I’m not athletic enough to get hurt seriously. Got guys like Jay Williams ruining their career doing dumb shit. Gotta play it safe to get paid. No weed, no motorcycles, and no contact sports. Wouldn’t even ride a bicycle down the street.
