Exhaustion. He’s one of the few guys in the league that’s gotta touch the ball 30 times a game. His body isn’t built for a season this long. Rams will be a back by committee next year just to preserve him.

The injuries go hand in hand with my point. His body is just broken down. This is why it’s not getting better for him. He needs an offseason.

They don't need him. Rams defense shut the Patriots offense.

Seems like he is injured and Rams dont want to admit it so Pats and Saints had to game plan for him

The St Bernard puppy in Puppy Bowl XV played with far more heart than Gurley. Gurley belonged in Kitten Bowl VI, if you know what I mean.

Too much cocaine for sean mcvay. Pupils looking way too large and game got too heavy.
Absurd 4th grade coaching. Even little children knew Gurley is the rams engine.
Inexcusible, pathetic, cowardly game plan.
Anyone with todd gurley on their team and giving ANY Carrys to cj Anderson should be fired and never coach again

I think it is pretty obvious Gurley's knee injury is more serious than Rams are letting on, the whole "he is healthy" diatribe is an attempt to prevent heavy fines for false injury reporting.

You're right and they should be fined for keeping him a decoy the last two games. That's why the league has injury reports.

I don't think that had anything to do with him not getting the rock again this game just like last. Makes no sense unless hes injured

You think any team is honest about injury report? There is obviously a inside team conflict with gurly - what makes the rams offense good is when there O-line is dominating- obviously they were not that great late in the season and was horrible in the super bowl -

Of course they all do, (Patriots do it every week.) but when an MVP type running back only gets 10 carries in a close game... in the Super Bowl, it's pretty blatant what you did. I don't think it's an inside team conflict with Gurley.
He’s already got paid - real ones would ball through injuries like Terrell Owens - if gurley is even hurt ... ( it’s the super bowl you might never comeback)

Knee is probably serviceable enough to run straight line but not for sharp cutting?

Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley was limited at the end of the season and in the playoffs due to arthritis in his left knee, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe.
The Rams had blamed soreness and inflammation for sidelining the 24-year-old workhorse back.
Head coach Sean McVay said at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this week that Gurley, who suffered a torn left ACL in 2014, would not need surgery.
McVay also said that stem cell treatment isn’t currently being considered, but he didn’t rule it out as an option.
The NFL has requested more information from the team about why Gurley was left off the Super Bowl injury report, a league source told Field Level Media.

Hasn't the NFL come down pretty hard on teams for this in the past?
