Looks to me like the public pushed the number with betting the Over and some sharp players came in and took the value when the number got inflated. I thought the number was tight at the opener at 143, it got pushed to 146 and change which would be a decent play on the Under, but where it sits now at 144 there isn't any value, really, IMO
