    Birdman doing Bird things.
    Tomas Berdych was looking good heading into this clash with Rafa, and loses 6 - 0, 6 - 1, 7 - 6.
That's the definition of a choker. Poor guy can't show up against the big 3

Was he expected to win as +500 underdog? What am I missing here?

Berdy was hot heading into this one. Truly remarkable how he can not compete with those at the very top,, namely the Big three. Also, a a big front-runner. Wins or loses big. I had to take Nadal - the games out of deference to Berdy's history, but I was still uncomfortable about it, due to Bird's actual skill. A little less uncomfortable, however, because if Nadal was somehow losing to Berd (and since Berd only wins big), Nadal, of course, would have retired.

We all knew he wouldn't win, but expected him to at least put up a fight. Immensely talented but never could get past any top 5 players. Never could've seen him losing 6-0, 6-1

And why would have Nadal retired? Don't tell me you one of those, he retired when losing on hard?!
