Sacramento Is The NBA Play On Monday Night!
Big scheduling advantage here for Sacto. The Kings have been at home for a week, never playing two nights in a row. The Blazers meanwhile had a dogfight in the mile high altitude of Denver last night (lost), and will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. Coach Joerger, who btw should be getting some Coach of the Year consideration, will run his boys hard tonight, and he has a deep bench as well. Lay the 2.5 with the fresher legs.

    As always, best of luck
    Harry

Usually would still like the blazers here + points but I think you’re right after they lost a close one that they feel they could’ve won, may be on the mind along with being worn out

Reading it wrong. This line is asking for blazers action.

I think it's telling us Portland wins. Why not-3.5?

Portland opened -2 at Sacramento a couple weeks ago and won. They have been 4-2 since with only 1 road game (last night)

Sacramento opened -1 and have gone 3-3 since with only 1 road game.

Blazers looked really good last night but just came up a bit short. They've been hot then cold in a few big swings this year and they are currently playing well. I'd take POR or pass.

I'm not a big NBA bettor but I like the logic here. For every day sports I tend to look for games where one team is playing back to back. This case is even better considering Portland just played the top seeded team in the west. I'd add that the under looks very tempting as well in this game. It's at 228.5 in my book, 64% of the public is on the over, and both teams are on a big under trend. If the OP theory is correct on Portland coming out flat tonight, both look like tempting plays.

I feel like in b2b scenarios, the team playing b2b at home rarely has an issue playing that b2b set. e.g magic last night vs rockets, or timberwolves vs pelicans on Saturday.

the team having to play on a b2b at another venue, might be a different story. If the players on Portland didn't log 34minutes, i would say Portland has a shot. 3 starters logging 34+ minutes in high altitude and have to fly to Sacremento?
                      I don't think i would touch that.

                          Every night's an adventure, JJ.

Just try to win more than you lose and you can have some fun with this stuff.

In the NBA, scheduling plays a huge part. Tough to play with tired legs. That's all I'm banking on tonight.

Just a question for you Harry. When capping NBA games, what else do you look for besides teams that have played back to back? I'm still a bit of an amateur at this so any advice would be appreciated.
