Guys are saying they were able to join today and enter picks. If that is indeed the case, GREAT and if the external site includes those scores in the standings after the race, they will count. But if today's entries are not added to standings, they will not be added retroactively.

The 24-hour guideline came from Slingshot, I assume because it is a one-man show over there and Jordan may not have the time to add tons of new members late, ours is obviously not the only league there.

Yes we can, will still review all entries, even if new ones are accepted today. The 89 entries coming into the day ware all good BTW, so only possible delay in payouts would be if scammer joins today.

Thanks for the clarification LT.

Hopefully when Slingshot updates, our entries submitted before the start of the race will count.

It says on the Slingshot site, all Picks are due by 2:30pm today. So we should be good to go.

Besides, Post #1 says you must be registered no more than 24 hours before first race to be guaranteed entry for Daytona. But it does then go on to say:

You may send the info a bit later, but there would then be no guarantee you will get signed up in time for the Daytona 500 (although you would be fine for all future races).

So while there is no guarantee you are in, there is also no guarantee you are not.

Hi Mike,
I just wanted to send a quick email so we're all on the same page as far as what to expect with the Slingshot Fantasy Auto Contest.

First, all rosters are posted about 30 minutes after the green flag. They can be found by going to Rosters/Results on the main menu of the site, and then clicking Slingshot and picking the race.

Next, results and standings are posted and updated usually within an hour of the race. That may be a little more delayed this year due to NASCAR's inspection process.

For Private and Public League Groups, you will be able to see everyone in your group's rosters but not initially this week. I'm still working out some bugs, but that will be fixed for race #2.
As far as Standings for Private and Public League Groups, again, you will have your own page to view those, but they will be delayed a bit this initial race. I'm giving myself a deadline of Monday evening for those to be up and running correctly.

Speaking of which, if you don't see your team in the group yet, DON'T WORRY. You will get in there if you requested it. If not, we can figure that out.

Thank you for your patience, and good luck this season. For those that played last year, the Rosters/Standings pages should be easier to navigate this time around once I get the bugs out.

Final word on this is that guys that show up in standings are in (excepting possible late scammers), and if members that joined today are not in standings, they are NOT in for Race 1.

It's basically one guy running the Slingshot site, agendaman. It takes Jordon a little while after the race to get everything updated. Live in race scoring would certainly be nice, but unfortunately he doesn't yet have the ability to do so.

My betting odds for the Daytona 500 are 200/1 Not sure how (we had a shot to win last year, always ran well at speedways, and our LFR team is gonna be strong this year) but either way could be one heck of a pay day for some people lol

Dibennidito has been a good driver just not good equipment that could compete This year the team is teaming up with JGR like truexx old team did last year. So better car hes showing what he can do

Wont happen at a normal track though.
