The price of bitcoin is and has been manipulated many times. Small fry have no chance vs the whales that dictate the course.

I wonder how much of that comfort was created by the relatively stable price recently. It seems to me to be a useable currency, bitcoin's value should become more stable. If so, the recent price activity will create increasing discomfort.

It's never too late. Buy Bitcoin and hold it for 3 or 4 years and you will make money. Many are unable to do this due to many reasons (skeptical, pucker up, don't have the cash, etc.). True, 4 or 5 months ago was a better entry point but the future is still very bright....

Does anyone see any reason to buy any other cryptocurrency right now? I have everything in bitcoin and a little in bitcoin cash. Took all my xrp and moved it to btc. Why put it anywhere else? Educate me.

"Ion, Microsoft's open source decentralized identify solution program, just launched, and they’re using the Bitcoin ($BTC) blockchain.
Bitcoin ($BTC) Futures exchange Bakkt has announced its intention to launch a “user acceptance test” by July to begin customer onboarding and test its model, according to a Medium post by CEO Kelly Loeffler. Bakkt will roll out daily and monthly futures contracts margined by ICE Clear US, which will operate like existing gold, oil, or interest rate futures contracts. The futures exchange is also placing $35 million in the clearinghouse’s risk waterfall in what Loeffler describes as Bakkt's 'skin in the game.' An integrated custodian is in the works, yet still pending approval."

Market moves in cycles from BTC back to ALTS.....so figure this If ETH all time high is around 1500 and currently at 200 versus BTC all time high at 20,000 currently at 8,000. Do you think ETH will get to 1500 before BTC gets to 56,000? I would bet an alt season is right around the corner at this point bring btc dominance back to the low 50's.

I kept 'thinking' about moving some cash into BTC in the mid 4000s last month.
