Nasher likes Oklahoma +14 over Alabama
    Why?
Because I don't think Alabama is 14 points better than the Sooners, and I'm not a 'Bama hater either.

And I think OK can beat them outright, but I need better than +400, but an outright OK win would not shock me.

I'm locked in at +14 (-110 for those who care) 2*

I'll post the ml play if I make it, but for now it's just a thought.

yeah +400 doesnt seem like it has any value against a dynasty

plus hollywood brown is like 75% healthy

i would need +550 and +17.5 to back OU

I'm confident of the +14, but yeah I also would need +550 or more on the money line.

i see most people saying oklahoma has an excellent chance to score alot of points. i can't see how +14 isn't a gift in those circumstances (of course, +14 generally means no backdoor type cover - even if ok scores late, generally the game is still competitive at that point)

moneyline is intriguing. i do have a question though: do moneylines vary much for +14 point spread for a CFB game? basically if they do, it would suggest to me that there's much more variance in the expected result, which makes some sense in this case. but i'd be surprised if the market is that fine-tuned.

              Thank you for that.
I can't do nothing but the basics until the top five unsigned free agents sign.
I'm hearing that the owners are playing behind the scenes shanagins again.
Machado ain't getting Stanton money, only player that deserves Stanton money is Trout.
Harper is an overrated "star", his slash line is after 7 years in the bigs is 32/91/.279.
Those are Andrue Jones or Josh Donaldson numbers, he doesn't hit LHP very well either.
What he does well is walk a lot. Star? Yes. Superstar, not even close considering he sucks in postseason. .211 sucks.
Yeah, yeah, I know all about his monster 2015 MVP season, he's the Eli Manning of the MLB, what he did in 2015 is what Eli did in 2007, but look at the entire body of work, and tell me he's a Mike Trout?

Nationals have never been a force, yes they have won division titles, but who can't when you had to play the Braves, Phils, and Mets 23 times a year, and oh by the way Phils and Braves have become relevant now.

Look for the skin flint Mets to sign AJ Pollack if the price is right, I don't think they want to go to war for 162 games with Lagares.

Realmuto, even though not an official free agent, Marlins will trade their last trading piece, but Marlins asking price is astronomical.

When these guys sign I'll have a better read on 2019, right now only thing I can say is the Cards leveled the playing field some with the signing of Goldy.

Sooners will need some Bama turnovers and a few fluke plays to cover imo. Oklahoma is a soft team and when they get punched in mouth, they will fold.

Looks like I'm on the wrong side again.
One positive, CFB season is over, back to hoops for me.
I'd be shocked if OK comes close.

Thanks Coach, when 'Bama went up 21-0 I thought I was buried.
                              I'll take this one.
