2 yr deal. Rockies still lack pitching imo.

He's going to have nice numbers there. The guy still makes contact.

Hes a nice pick up. Plus AZ rebuilding this year and SF looks to be starting over as well so its basically going to be Rockies and Dodgers with Padres about a year away from being a relative club. I dont think the season total ovr/und are out yet but Rockies should go over. Like the Dodgers tho to win the division again.

How could this guy not find a team that wants to retain him?

          All he does is hit!!!

          Good signing

Should have gone to AL. His glove is horrendous and will get worse.

I heard teammates hate him wherever he goes. That's why the Mets didn't bring him back.

He can't DH imo and even in AL he would still have to play a defensive position.

He really looked like he lost a lot of power coming off that micro surgery. He can obviously still hit but I dont think hes going to be that 22,23, 25 homer guy even playing at coors.

Hitting does not win World Series

We see it year after year

Its a good move - he had reconsctructive knee surgery and wasn't the same player last year, Rockies weakness was against right handed pitching, 2 years isn't too long either given his age.
