Kawhi Leonard Agrees To Multi-Year Deal
Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard has agreed to a multiyear endorsement deal with New Balance, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Leonard, 27, will serve as the face of New Balance basketball, with the company looking to re-establish itself in the basketball market.

The two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year turned down an extension with Jordan Brand earlier this year, allowing him to become a sneaker free agent.

Darius Bazley, a Syracuse recruit who opted to forgo college to work toward the 2019 NBA draft, is interning for New Balance.

In his first year with the Raptors, Leonard is one of the early MVP favorites. The Raptors own the best mark in the NBA at 18-4, and Leonard is averaging 24.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals.

Not an expert on this but it's a good way for him to make up some lost income from playing in Canada somehow, right?

as an nba player, playing in toronto and exposure compared to playing in la or nyc is not comparable.

It is still Canada. Everything outside USA is 3rd world country to me.

Kawhi back to being one of the best players in NBA.

Disappointed in Kawhi... how he handled the San Antonio situation. POP didn't deserve that. Teammates didn't deserve that. Just be straight with people. Hope he stays in Toronto. Great talent.... questionable integrity.
