I would not be surprised to see Milwaukee schedule Bullpen Days Games 1-3-4, with Chacin going 2-5. Counsill seems reluctant to start his southpaws Miley and Gio vs. Rockies.

Bullpen games will work for wild card and maybe even division series.

But get to the league championship and those 3 games in a row and forget it.

Especially for the brewer's with harder who needs his rest.

Actually it is decided.

It will be Bullpen Day, they are just undecided on opener. Last time they did one they opened with Jennings, but he is lefty so doubt it will be him. Could be one of Freddy Peralta, Woodruff or Lyles if they make NLDS roster. But it is all speculation at this point.

Difference between what A's are doing tonight and what Brewers plan to do tomorrow though is that the guys I mentioned above can all give then 2-3 innings, as can Junior Guerra. Maybe they can eat up 5 innings with two of them.

Brandon Woodruff is opening, as mentioned above he could possibly go 2-3 innings, although not sure if that is what Counsell wants.
