Wtf happened?

Like a few others have said, he was at the Bash meet and greet and was hanging for a while but wasn't feeling well. Guy is larger than life and was super cool when the wife and I met him. We didn't see him after that and was told he wasn't feeling well with a fever. I heard last night that it was very serious and here we are today. It's fukked up.

Not sure what the diagnosis is but sounds like pancreatitis. It's a long road back but it's doable. They will get your fever down but you need to do what they say and you have all the support from this forum behind you

Nevermind...I saw the write up mentioning (GBS) guillaine-barre syndrome. I remember reading about William "The Refrigerator" Perry having this about 10 years ago. Bigday is in an induced coma. I was put in an induced coma for 29 days and it can be a life-saver.

For what it's worth, my dad was stricken by the same disease when I was a kid. Took him a while but he did recover, wasn't long before he was the same old asshole he'd always been . Hang tough BD, you and your family are in everyones thoughts.

This news is just flat out fuked up. BigDay has been an icon on this forum for a long time. At least since I’ve been here. He has never had any enemies and the nicest dude on the block. I have donated 5000 points since I’ve been back to his charity and will continue to do it. He sends me these messages and it makes me want to do more. I wish there was something I could do now other then pray for him and his family. This news is fuking awful and still can’t beleive it. Times like this are when you really find out who your friends and family are. This is all you have. SBR is BigDays second family and I can see the love and support pouring through keyboards as he continues to fight. You have to keep these two things, friends and family, close to your heart.
