It would be nice to blame this on a young team but this was flat out stupidity over and over. It’s gonna take Simmons ten years to finally learn how to shoot. Two huge first round picks on guys that couldn’t even get their college teams in the 64 man tournament. TWo other huge 1st round picks alread off the team and got nothing for it. Quite the process

Just saw the highlights.

Philly was up one, 20 seconds left, they missed a shot, Simmons got the offensive rebound and tried to score??? WHAT WAS HE THINKING?? They could have milked the clock, forced the Celtics to foul, but instead he missed a shot.

then with 5.5 left and down 1 simmons trying to inbound to awkward ass Embiid and a terrible pass to an Embiid who didn't even have separation or easy lane to take the pass and it gets picked off

Honesty Simmons lost the game - don’t blame the coach - dude miss a wide open lay up - at worst hold on to the ball and they will foul you - forgot the fcking trash can’t hit free throws

How can you be sure bout fultz? He might end up a bust but there really not enough evidence to say either way is there? Why can't philly bring in a free agent? I think the only thing that prevents these 2 squads batting it out for the east for the next 10 years is the always fragile health of embid which has to always be in back of sixers fans minds I would think.

You don’t think guys want to play with embiid and Simmons in a big sports market? Role players like belinelli and ersan already chose to come here to be part of a young up and coming team. An all star free agent will absolutely sign a max deal here in the near future.

Fultz will be fine. He’s a teenager. He put up a triple double in the last game he actually played. Came back too late in the year to mesh with the team. He won’t be a superstar. But he absolutely has all star talent

I do love Tatum, thought ainge was brilliant moving back to 3rd and still getting best player in draft., im bias cause he a local kid but his game always been silky smooth!

Especially since their lack of athleticism and lack of an outside playmaker who can create his own shot is killing them this series. I’d love to see guys like fultz and Holmes take minutes from Covington and belinelli on Monday.

Gotta say in the 2 games I’ve seen been very impressed w Tatum. Looks like Philly w a swing & a miss in that draft
