A case could be made that Democratic party laws, eg rules on businesses, restrictions on hiring on firing, excessive costs for environment and safety, excessive legal bureaucracy, excessive taxes, excessive law suites every time a doctor does a surgery or a manufactures makes one ot two defective parts, slow downs in European economy by wexcessive socialism. Stock markets go up and down, it takes patience. The US economy is still better than most other countries.

The problem with your theory is that trump took the first year to correct that. What cause this is that he took a loan out from china to give the companies and 1% a tax break. A few people such thor,rkelly d2 and myself exactly what would happen. Companies bought back shares. Gave themselves raises. When things look bleak they sell these shares for extra profit. The ownership of stocks is 40% of foreigners so they cash their shares in also. Trickle down is a great theory but it doesn't take in the greed of man.
