Id take Bear still any day. Id also take alot of other coaches, some who won chips and some who never sniffed a chip, those who did well with far less talent. Yes Saban is a good manager of some of the very best talent available no denying that.

of course it is but a coach that doesnt get multiple 5 star recruits and yet still finds ways to win should get more credit. People expect bama to win cuz every great recruit wants to play for them. Saban isnt doing anything special as a coach. He is winning cuz he has superior talent to every one eslse.

This isnt just a problem with bama, its a problem with all of college football. Its not competitve at all. Who wants to watch the same teams win every year? especially wen they r expected to win.

He's a great actor, tries to keep his team motivated late in the season when he knows complacency can set in, does it every year late in the season, acts as if he's sick and tired of questions, and attacks media. I think its smart and I think it works for the team. He's a perfectionist though.
