I think the nba chose the script as: Warriors come out swinging, they get a solid lead and the Cavs struggle early. Then all of a sudden LeBron will go crazy and mount a comeback with the Cavs pulling it out at the end, probably in dramatic fashion to make sure all of the sports shows are talking about the game for a week straight as they need to keep pace with the NFL and college bowl season. That way they can compare the great Christmas showdown, which in reality means almost nothing, to last year's finals for added drama.

i guess it depends on which team you want to win, because draymond threw hissy fits after every foul, dramatically running across court, flailing his arms after every call, and no way in hell he was gonna get that second T. I'm sure there is a common sense influence where they don't want the game decided because of over celebration like some football games are prone to do
