Omg can't believe sweating that Purdue game out - refs trying SO hard for Maryland - who scored all their points in the last 7 mins at the line - then the Haas apparently travels with less than a second left and refs CALLED IT! Put 0.5 secs back on clock to give Maryland a chance and hurter almost drilled the 3.

i know man, i was thinking ok we lose now on that walk. thing is that big ass caveman should of dribbled. i think his iq must be single digits lol.

but in his defense he hit those 2 ft before that to save us. and the other kid hit the 2 on the drive.

i am happy to break even on that game. purdue should of covered 1st half easy...but didn't. should of covered 2nd half easy but had to sweat it out. unreal.

trimble gets so many calls its disgusting. that foul on swanigan on the loose ball that he had his hand on it. how was that a foul for trimble?????

Last week Izzo told reporter at halftime that he thinks Haas travels a lot, and figured he'd tell the refs to help them out lol.

A big part of why I took Purdue today was their 85% or so FT shooting in Big Ten play so far. And clearly it was clutch down the wire.

I figured they would have issues with the size. Then once that happened then they would nail it down with the 3s. Not exactly how I planned it but i'll take it.

That one kid from MD Chereko or whatever his name was the hero for them though. All those blocks and crazy plays he made. If not for him and the refs this game was an easy win for Purdue.

Cekovsky, I hear the Terp fans call him Ceko. He's a beast, was expected to make a huge leap this year but was injured for a good portion. He'll probably keep getting better and better. Maryland is good, their freshmen have really surprised me, but their non-conf schedule was softer than Drake.

ya the young shooters are great. that cevosky is ok. has size but def raw on his moves. not a big trimble fan. they could make some noise with 1 or 2 more big adds.

yes their schedule has been fairly weak. that was another reason why i liked purdue eventhough purdue never wins on the road.

ps. about time you showed up this year. you were a little late to class but now you are starting to look like the dom i used to know. hahahah!

The issue with the Terps is that both Cekovsky and Bender both have problems with handling the ball. They can't catch anything,one must "hand off" the ball to them,just like a QB to a running back. And both guys need to work more on their foot movement. With that 3 guard offense and the development of Jackson and Huerter,this team could be dangerous come March!!............Of course I am a little bias on this one!!

Yes you're right - you're biased. Haha. I agree though, Maryland is a team nobody will want to play in March. Even though I think they're not battle tested or experienced enough (except Trimble) to make a deep run, I still think they are playing like a sweet 16 or maybe even elite 8 type team.

Yes you are on point. They can not be fed the ball in a traditional manner. Makes it tough. If they could it would really change the dynamic of their team.
