Hearing Cartman's from the internet half understand cliches about Jersey makes me want to smash my head against the wall. Thankfully I have enough vodka and otherwise to cushion it.

#45when this guy somehow burst on the scene in the early 70's he benefited mainly by being professionally promoted by a top tier capitol records team. it was timed right after the british invasion had ebbed. the 20's something group were anxious for a change and he was different. no talent, but he resonated with the concert crowd and put on a good show. how he has survived this long is a wonder for the ages. he developed a cult following by identifying with his fans through his blue collar approach. it became the in thing to go to one of his concerts where one could scream, holler, and have a good time. he must be tired of all this by now and from what i hear his new songs are crap. time to hang it up bruce. hard to believe he has bridged 2 generations.Comment -

#48Haha. Good one dan! Great show. Unofficial time 4 hours 3 minutes but will wait until confirmed.
Saw my 1st concert when I was 12 years old with my dad. Was Bruce's 35th birthday at the old spectrum. Was something that was just passed down to both my brother & I. Since my brother passed 4 years ago I just keep the tradition alive. We always buy an extra ticket that just sits empty for him. Don't expect jerkoffs like Btween her cheeks who have no moral compass or family skills to understand but it's something that we share as a family.Comment -

#49Personally I think Born in the USA his only album ever worth a fukk. I did like that song he did for "Jerry McGuire", but other than that most of his stuff sucks.Comment -

#52Greaser gotta take opie for what it's worth. Jesus trying to impress guys with videos of him dunking on a 7ft rim & talking thd family out to Subway after "winning" 1600 in a casino speaks volumes about the guy. His saving grace was cowboys playing a last place schedule this year an Romo goes down 1st hit of preseason. Personally he gets a pass from me until the bashComment -

I gave you props motherfukker! I said I saw him in the Cotton Bowl in 85. It was cool.
Im just not a big fan. A big part of that is because he's such a liberal jerkoff, Yankee hippie Fukk. I liked Stevie Van Zandt, but mostly because he was Silvio Dante in Sopranos.Comment -

Yep one album wonder "Born in the USA".. Pink Cadillac song was decent as well from another album..
All these older famous artists and bands keep trying put out new stuff but they clearly lost their magic.. All garbage as they lost their creativity in their older age and simply can't rock it out anymore. Probably a product of being sober as well..
My take anyways..Comment -

#57I was there last night. His longest show ever in North America.
Might've been my favorite Bruce show that I've been to and I've been to several. Loved how he played his old stuff from Asbury Park and the wild, the innocent, the e street shuffle at the beginning. Some great lesser known songs as well like Fever.Comment -
