Been betting a couple years now but just now getting to the point where im starting to bet more and more... I was curious if anybody on here has ever invested in a handicapper and actually had success??? I always get texts and emails from all these handicappers that offer me a free pick in exchange for me signing up if it hits... Some win, some dont... But id like to get some advice from bettors like myself and see if anybody might have a name of a good handicapper that I might could win some money with this football season!!!

If you have to pay people to give you a winner you should probably hang it up. Plenty of good cappers here. Just have to hang around more. Although, if you need a winner just hang in PT and find the first thread that has the word lock or guarantee play and fade it.Comment -

Yeah I knew id get alot of these answers... I realize that even handicappers I pay arent guarenteed to turn a profit... But they cant do no worse than I have done over last couple of years... I was just curious if anybody might of had some luck with finding a good handicapper... truer words were never spoken or written. no one can analyze all these games every week. most difficult games to pick are the ones with spreads over 7 pts. so throw those all out. forget about ML parlays on those games that seem to be locks. they'll be locking you up with brock landers if you get hooked on playing them.Comment -
Much like what the others said. Paying for picks is just cutting into your bankroll, and while you can find a good one here or there that has a great year or even two in the long run they'll take you to gamblers ruin.
A couple things to ask before buying picks (if you must go that route). Ask the Bastard what's your percentage in beating the closing line? If he says that's hogwash then he isn't that sharp. Not sharp enough to purchase from anyway.
When does he release plays? Is it an hour or less before kickoff? Well that's not a good sign either. Not because he may win or lose, but because you may miss out on a wager that you payed for.
The one that usually always gets them is can I see all your picks from years past. Any good gambler will track their plays on a spreadsheet. If they can't send you the spreadsheet then they don't deserve your money.
For touts its way more about the Spin than the win. They Spin their talk to bring in the sheep. Such as My GOY is 88%. I'm 16-4 my last 20, and I'm a specialist on games in Pittsburgh, or whatever city. When in reality it's all about what has he done for you the buyer.
Best just stay away, track your capping and see if you're beating the closer consistently. That's the hardest thing for gamblers to admit to. However it's been proven time and time and time and time again. If you beat the closer you'll win long term. Most hate hearing that, and will slam people for saying that. They hate thinking that can actually lose long term. I guess it's a testosterone thing.
