RR I've met some great guys here on the board that I do call friends....Jake, Mpash, Trip D, Sin, Booya to name a few. Now if I was in a bind or needed a favor would I reach out to them? probably not but still consider them friends non the less.....I'm a firm believer in that the way people act here at SBR is probably the way they conduct themselves in "real" Life. When i see people like PO69, TheAntfather, etc take shots it annoys the hell out of me. I havent cashed in prob 10 days but it didnt even enter my mind to enter a tourney that was clearly for the 9 players that were left. It shouldn't take SBR to password protect it, just do the right fuckin thing.Comment -
I hear what you're saying Philly...the problem with all that is, that SBR allows that kind of behavior and does nothing to stop it.
It doesn't really matter that y'all spent your day yesterday telling each other how honorable and noble some of you guys are - both tourneys were still played out in the standard format.
At some point you need to stop getting upset about these little hiccups man and realize that this is just how things are around here.Comment -

1) You can't afford to post up any man sized wager.

The right thing would have been a make up tournament for just the 9 left who were in the money when the crash happened. Then a 2nd tournament for those who could not sign up for the 11pm like myself. Password protected would of been the way to go, but you have members who figure that shit out anyway. You have members who need 4 horsemen to cash, admitted ghost accounts who thought "this account was pro before", bet betpoints loan scammers, angle shooters etc.....The list goes on and on and will continue unless some sort of serious infractions are set and enforced. With known cheats/scammers with no integrity or morals obviously, still allowed to play in poker tournaments and SBR contests, let alone still allowed active accounts on SBR, The next scumbag angle shooter is 1 tournament or contest away.
That being said, The right thing for SBR to do now is distribute the pts and badges among the 9 players as a 9 way chop. Whatever your total chip count percentage of total chips in play is your place/prize. No reason for those 9 to have to field 2 tournaments to maybe cash 1 time. Hopefully this becomes an option for guys like Yisman who was chip leader of the 9 and then got binked 30th place in the make up.
