Houston's OK if you're 25 miles away from the city anything close you don't want to be around there

Let's not compare Houston and LA. LA has a ghetto around every corner. Even Hollywood is a dump. Overrated.

                              Pavy, Durant is from DC.

He would have lived in texas for only a year while in school.

I think if you reside in Texas there is no state income tax so that would be saving KD several million a year. He would have to spend a lot of time there though. Not sure if several million is worth it

jk I went there once and every one was pretty cool and the BBQ was awesome.

He makes $30 million a year from Nike alone...not sure he's really hurting for cash

Yes, 3 months is hot as hell but everywhere has AC. I go from my house to my car to my office in luxury whereas cities like NY and Chicago has inadequate AC most places and every summer people drop down dead from the heat.

Houston as well as SA, Dallas and Austin are the fastest growing cities in the US for a reason. Texas is very tax friendly and affordable for families to live. Southern California is awesome with the hills and the beach but the cost of living and the fake ass people make it not nearly as nice.
