The man could hit. The Power numbers late in his career were obviously from PEDs. Given that, he was a very smart hitter and I would not be surprised if he was a good hitting coach. Manager? nope.

Just because you were a great hitter doesn't necessarily mean that it will translate to you being a great manager. Ted Williams was arguably the greatest hitter of all time, but did terrible as a skipper.

Going to be and is are two different scenarios. I'm right about 30% of the time so you've got a chance on him being terrible.

2. Gives you superior timing... because of this strength.

3. Gives you superior confidence.

Take the roids away.... fukking guy couldn't hit 50 home runs in a season.
