I was wondering the same thing myself and am interested as well. If not I would be willing to run one on Yahoo or ESPN. Just need to agree on bet points, the format of the league, and a draft date that works for everyone.

SBR should set up an escrow bank for points, so if we want to have pools we can hold betpoints securely. I guess it might have to be for Pros only.

When you have the pitching that the Mets have you are no fluke.

One team in NYC, the NY Yats - Imagine the Mets starters with the Yanks bullpen - that bandwagon would be as big as the moon.

I used to tend bar in Manhattan, and every year in the middle of September most of the clientele would decide who's their favorite team. This would never happen outside of Manhattan. I called those people Yats fans, they were so stupid they thought the DH was fun.

i have set up a 5x5 roto format league called the SBR league in Yahoo.
12 team league.
I have set a draft date of Sunday 3/27 and a 5pm draft time, 5pm is good for those in most time zones.

I read the posts here and the consensus is people prefer Yahoo, and the most popular format is the standard 5x5 set up point set up.

Entree fee and prize money needs to be discussed.

My suggestion is 250 point entry fee, 12 teams at 250 per = 3000 point pool.
I like the idea of only the top 2 get paid, being nobody should be awarded for a better than mediocre season.

2000 points to the winner.
1000 points to the runner up.
Open for debate.

People who have expressed interest here in joining get first preference to own a team.

I will be the commissioner.

Sunday nights are not ideal for me

every other Sunday, I have a poker tournament at my local casino at 5pm PST
