It's a 7 pt teaser and what's old is ppl saying "never cross zero" Yada Yada Yada. I've played many a teaser over the years where I bet a team down from -5 down to +1. Makes a huge difference because so many have won by 3 pts do they wouldn't have covered the 5. Crossing zero was smart

Ok so in that line of thinking, you won the bet by 4 pts(zero not possible) if you would have went by the standard rule not to cross zero you would have the other team teased from +5 to +12. They lost by 3 so you won the bet by 9 pts. The second option of not crossing the zero gives you less stress(winning the bet by 9 pts instead or a closer game spread by 4 pts) and you also didn't pay extra juice for numbers that are worthless... It's not rocket science bud. It's simple mathematical smartness

PK and -1/2 are the same value as there are no ties in the Playoffs. +1/2 is also worthless. That is why you don't cross zero. You are paying juice for worthless #'s. You can't argue the math.

betting teasers have changed with the change in the rules geared toward offense. totals have gone up so point value has gone down. close games are fewer than it was before so teasers are harder to win now.

Sup Homie long time no see hope all is well. Youre paying for 7 pts, getting 6 true pts. Ive done it, like anything just gotta pick your spots, do dont it often, rarely, so that over the long run its not biting you in the butt. Teasing is about finding a better sense of comfort, but I agree its not a wise thing to do.

Arizona wins 27-16. About halfway thru the season Jon Gruden said on MNF that Arizona is the most talented team in the NFL. I think they win straight up....huge mismatches in the passing game if their protection holds up and I think Palmer will play much better than he did last week.

It's obvious that a field goal is 3 points and a touchdown is 7 points.
After thousands of NFL games, these will be the common outcome by a large percentage.
