I used to have several pair, but they were nothing special. My buddy's dad was the basketball coach at my hometown university and after they got a Nike contract all Reebok had to go. They won the DII national title the next 2 seasons. Good times in the 90's.

Oh yeah I did see quite a few Hoyas and Bulls coats around back then.

Does anyone remember there were 2 versions of the release valve?

I think once you got to size 12 and higher... the release valve was in the back... near the heel.

Any size 11 and lower.... the release valve was near tongue of the shoe.

Man my parents must have been so pissed off to have to buy me these. They sent me to Pat Riley basketball camp up at UCSB and at the end of camp these motherfukkers trot out a bunch of dudes wearing these shoes jumping out of the gym. I had to have them.
