think you guys have right coach,if rest of your D played with grit of Burns. Getting Coture back will help too

I don't know man...I mean they really should do a lot better even without Couch...I think the new coach is too soft, but that just my opinion

give it time, you have a goalie for future. IMO better than any you've had. Maybe plan is to stock up with Marleau trade

Jones is rusty...he was never a true number one goalie anywhere...so only time will tell if he's capable of playing the entire season at that role.
Thorton and Marleau have identical contracts...plus both are getting old. I'm thinking if you ship one out...might as well say goodbye to the 2nd one and just enter into the full blown rebuild mode after that...the rebuilding, that Wilson has been talking about for the last 2-3 years.

I think he can be but as you new to him so may be some growing pains. Trade both to Leafs for #1 picks until 2027
