Trump's popularity rate is at an all-time high after he announced that he wanted illegal immigrants out of the US. He was egging on Jeb Bush. This is the most overrated statement in politics. I collect on defaulted student loans. Have been doing it for over 16 years now. This is some of the most wasted money I have ever seen distributed. So many people get the student loans thinking that all they have to do is go to school, and the world will be theirs. Truth is, many of them drop out before the course is finished, or never get the job they were looking for if they do graduate. Once they go into default, they then get mad because they can't get even more student funding. About 40% of the people I talk to are unemployed. More than half of them are paying $5/month to try and get it out of default so they can take even more money later.

There is enough money going out there for college funding. The problem is that the government is giving it to way too many irresponsible people.

I would like to see the government subsidize higher education, not loan the money out and tack on interest but subsidize 12 hours per semester for anyone wanting to go to college. I think we would be better off as a nation if we got people educated. Much more so than losing thousands of lives and nearly a trillion dollars for a war in Iraq that didn't need to happen.
