Yeah, I'll have to look at their strength of schedule...Illinois has a lot less room margin for error in pitching IMO. ND is always overrated garbage in everything, and that Wright State team played some solid D, but their hitting was sub-par and their head coach looked like he was all of 25 years old haha. Couldn't have had more than a few years of head coaching experience, at least at the D1 level I'm guessing...this could all be wild speculation however...

Illinois is the real deal. If they win, it's their pitching. Their rotation has been awesome all year. With only having to worry about three games, they get to use one of their starting rotation guys as a key cog in the bullpen that really strengthens the middle innings. Vandy has also had some issues against lefties and Illinois can throw two if they want with Duchene and McDonnell who didn't even have to pitch in the Regionals.

A lot of these match-ups have been given pick em style lines for the series on who will advance. Starting my research today.

Good info Eagles, yeah I really respected the guy announcing the game and he had very high praise for Illinois too. They do have a 50 win season so they are going to be a very tough out.

I don't think they have enough pitching. LSU is just superior in all phases and they should be really keyed up too still since they lost early last year.

Lafayette would have to find much more consistent offense I think to battle LSU because the Tigers are likely going to put up runs.

Just starting to look at tomorrow. Had been looking over the match-ups and futures and I gotta say that there isn't anything I like futures-wise. A lot of them are close lines where I don't think you get much value taking a dog at +105 or +130 even. Better off in my opinion taking shots on higher MLs in the individual games.

The ones with bigger lines seem set according to the chances of what I see, so I am just going with game picks this weekend.

Might even wait till tomorrow on that, it looks like it will drop to 10 based on that price. I just think this Miami offense is so f-ing good that they could do a lot of this damage themselves. Suarez is a stud for Miami, but he'll give up hits. It'll be whether VCU can cash in a couple with RISP to add to the total that makes the difference. I really think if they get 3-4, Miami is gonna do the rest.

Going to pass on Florida-Florida State. Total was the one thing I was looking at. Under was my thought, but I think it's a tough # - if Biegalski isn't efficient or gets beat up early, afraid the middle men in that FSU pen will let Florida tack on runs and put that in jeopardy. But if I had to bet it, I would probably hesitantly try the under.
