It just goes to show... yes... if you strike a woman you're scum. But, realistically... once you strike a woman... and the woman obeys you... it must be a psychological high for you. Then you'll do it a second and a third time and so on. It's extremely unhealthy.... and you need to just leave the person after that. No one ever leaves.
