To the best of my knowledge he got his start in the NBA sub-forum and was there for a few months. Every once in a while a mention of a SamsNCharge would reach me in Players Talk or in Chat. I don't know who it was *piercing stare in JJ's direction* that moved him into Players Talk, but I sure would relish five minutes in a dark alley with that poser,...er, poster.

I posted my plays in NBA and NCAA sections at first....didn't know about Players Talk...or should say never came into players talk.

Then, I needed help about putting my spreadsheet into my post, so I asked someone on Players Talk and who came to answer me....anyone....anyone.....that's right it was none other than

JJ GOLD

After that, I still posted in NBA, but then would look at Players Talk. Finally, I decided to post at Players Talk in early February. It was fun and everything was good.

Then, me and my buddy made a video and everyone loved it. So, we started making normal videos and it was good.

I might have done too many, but OHH WELL.

Then I won POM, and everyone started hating on me. So, I obv. have to defend myself and know everyone hates me.

It was strange how this kid emerged especially since he has been ehre a while. I do not think there ever was a poster that had a lot of posts in a sub forum and then became a star later in the main foru. It usually starts in the main forum.

Nicky the kid is a star, he was poster of the month 2x in a row now, I called it also.

that's what i don't get. since he's an attention whore, wouldn't he have come here from day 1 where there is way more posters to respond to him. and wouldn't he have mad vids many months ago..

I think you guy need to accept him as a star now becaus else is not going anywhere , the guys that have been herea little but are jealous of him so they bash him. He should be treated different than the average guy here.

I couldn't agree with you more, JJ. Until he can get over himself and shrink his ego to the size of the average poster, he should take more criticism and be subject to greater ridicule than the average poster. As the attention whoring goes, so goes the reception.

i too thought it was pico, but from what i heard, jj has the actual #'s on it and the ballots were all in and it was recounted and sammy did indeed win pom for march by 3 votes over pico. .. sammy won 112-109 in votes. it was a very close race, but sammy did prevail.

so a big congratulations goes out to sbr's own, sammy.. for winning back to back pom awards.. that was only accomplished one other time by jjgold at MW back in apr and may of 2005..
