Give me your Cruise Ship Experiences

Went on my first cruise recently......Carnival Destiny, was impressed with Customer Service, Food....Half Moon Cay Island that Carnival Owns....Never realizes they are such a marketing empire. F... hated the fact they constantly take pictures.....on the boat, off the boat, at dinner....etc.... real pain after awhile.........spent $130 on booze the 1st night, bs some of the drinks had to be watered down but for the most part it was a good experience!

I have gone to Alaska, Bermuda and Mexico in a Cruise Ship. The Mexican Cruise was a terrible time and the boat was crappy. The Bermuda Cruise was top of the line all of the way. The Alaska Cruise was the worst because I lost a lot of coin in the Casino.

I was surprised at my bill at the end, gotta try and get some booze on there next time.... a week was more than enough for me, the odds on machines....etc... are quite bad compared to vegas payouts....ie..VPoker

great experiences each time...

I would live on a cruise ship if that was an option

You are allowed to buy duty free booze from every country you visit Blitty. Didn't you do that in your cruise?

Isn't the problem they take from you once you board from the island and give it to you once you get back to your departure city?

Wife has twice been offered free cruises for us to take through her business, and twice we have turned 'em down. Not really into just hanging around on a ship or at an all-inclusive hotel on land for that matter. Just not my bag.

they do.....it's like airport security, the bag goes through the x-ray machine or do they not give a crap and let it through

They never search in European cruises. Do you think that someone will blow up and sink a 500 ft long ship with a bottle of Jack Daniels?

I LOVE cruises, have been on 4 of them, 2 on Carnival and 2 on NCL, they are really fun, they have a casino, bars, nightly Broadway type shows, 2 or more pools depending on the ship, shopping..etc.. any questions feel free and ask me
