I think the Browns are smart. They have seen what happens to talented QB's like Sam Bradford, RG3, Cam Newton who have gotten thrown in the fire too soon.

They dont want Manziel to lose his confidence.

He should never have started. He's terrible. This is why he wasn't playing all along. Coaches likely got pressured by GM and ownership.

If Brian Hoyer starts today, the Browns easily only lose 30-10...
