I agree and I think they have matured a shit load since the beginning of the season. I am fully aware the all in move is not smart BUT it is a conscious one and not a decision that was made out of being on tilt or anything like that. This is my way of self punishment for all my lost time that has been pissed away with sports betting.

Why wouldn't you just take them on the money line? Anything less than +3 points to me, you basically believe that team is going to win. I thought USC would beat Michigan State and they played them real tough. KU can beat them straight up.

You know how that goes. You take the team on the ML and they end up losing by one point less than the spread. He doesn't take Kansas + 3 and they lose by 2. The gambling Gods are cruel.

I always take the points, of course we think a team will cover easily or we would not bet it. Reality is it doesnt usually happen that easy.

I was just about to take the ML BUT when the juice moved to EVEN I locked it in and took the points... If I was laying -110 I would have taken the ML but I will take +2.5 at EVEN all day long...

And Bateman, you read my mind pal... I lost a total of 8 ML's this year in NCAABB by a COMBINED 13 points!!!

Not playing this as fan of KU! IMO +2.5 has value and just to give you an opposite view since at even you have a chance to lower the wager?

MicHSt has everything a championship team needs! Size, quickness, slow/fast tempo capabilities, outside/inside game, depth, experience! Collins only true experienced player who at times forces shots. MichSt has more than one guy to harass him. Both teams have 4 guards that contribute, edge MichSt.

Aldrich can dominate but could pick up some fouls? KU doesn't have as many scoring options IMO as MichSt. Will KU's role players continue to impress? KU already has met expectations? Wearing a KU cap as I type so good luck! Sorry I forgot to say IMO MichSt. but 2.5 might do the trick!

I like Michigan St on this game. I like the older, more mature, hard rebounding, aggressive defense vs an inexperienced, young, turnover prone team.

That is actually really good. You are aware that with your BR higher now you would make much more than you did the past 1.5 years, right? Because of higher unit size. You have potential in this I wouldn't quit man. Dam you shouldn't have made the bet, but if it hits 10k is a great BR you can really build up quick with if you are good.

I think the biggest factor was the VALUE in +2.5, alot of books have it at +1.5 -115/-110 so +2.5 at even money was huge and I hope my instincts were right. I agree MSU is more experiences but I like Self's track record in these bigger games...

My other option was Memphis -4 at -115 but went with KU...

Wile that was my thinking, IF it hits, I have a great roll for baseball and if not then I free up a shit load of time for myself where I can make money doing other things. Like I said in previous posts, $4,500 profit is nice, but the TIME that was involved just isnt worth it. Roughly 4-5 hours a day was spent on this shit and it is too much, along with grad school and a full time job!

Seaborne, to answer your question... The reason why I went all in is because I have let alot of things slide lately, like school, my house, my career, my relationships with people, I only go to the gym 1-2 times a week, just have let a lot of things go. This was largely due to me spending most of my free time doing research and following lines/scores, halftime lines, etc.

I just really caught myself getting way too absorbed. SO, I said fukk it, IF (god please dont) I lose, it is my self punishment for allowing myself to get to the point I did. And WHEN I win, it is a reward and make all the other things that I have let go not sting as much...

Might not agree with me but thats my reasoning....
